Madonna to Perform in Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show

It was already confirmed that Madonna will play at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on February 5. It has been rumored for months and only last Sunday night that the news was confirmed by the NFL committee that Madonna will be on Super Bowl XLVI debut together with Cirque du Soleil and her choreographer/creative director Jamie King.

The game is scheduled to be on the first Sunday of February at Lucas Oil Stadum in Indianapolis. Madonna being reigned as the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show performer will join the heights of the Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, U2, Paul McCartney and Prince, who were able to perform in the Super Bowl years ago.

Madonna is also set to release her 12th studio album in 2012 and a first single could be given in the time of the Super Bowl XLVI.

Madonna's set list for the Super Bowl 2012 was leaked by a popular fan page.  Madonnarama reports that the pop icon has already rehearsing for the big game which isn't until the Super Bowl XLVI Kickoff time. She will have a 15-minute set time.

The site stated the five songs in the set list are in turn would be played by Madonna such as Gimme All Your Luvin' with guests Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., Ray Of Light, Vogue, Music and Holiday.

But we just have to wait and see for the upcoming big game of 2012, the Super Bowl XLVI at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 5, 2012.
